• Oak Mountain State Park
• The start/finish area may vary from month to month and will be posted on the website. One of the following locations within the park will be used:
  • Tranquility Day Use Area
    turn off of John Findley Drive near mile marker 4 (BMX track is also here)
  • Double Oak Lake Area
    on Terrace Drive (go past marina, park office, and beach parking lot)
  • Beaver Lake Area (fishing lakes)
    on John Findley Drive near mile marker 7 (dirt parking area beside lake)
• Look for the orienteering signs!

• start between 10am - 12pm
• Maximum 3 hour time limit (all courses)
• Everyone must be finished by 2pm
• Control pickup will begin at 2pm

• All VOC local meets charge a nominal fee of $5 per map plus $2 fee for e-stick rental
• Small groups may orienteer together using a single map and e-stick
• Oak Mountain State Park has a $3/person entrance fee at the gate

• Yellow - Advanced Beginner
• Orange - Intermediate
• Red - Advanced
• Electronic punching on all courses

All entrants participating in a VOC orienteering meet must complete and sign a waiver (required by USOF). You may download this form below and bring it with you, or you can fill one out at the meet.
